The Chinese New Year is coming which means more fresh energy - YAY!!
2020 was an unprecedented year and I think the Rat really took us all by surprise with the pandemic and resulting impact. There were many emotions and fears bubbling out of the sewers of our minds, which gave us a chance to work through old patterns.
Yet for many, there were fresh opportunities as well. Opportunities to work on our homes and spaces, reinvent ourselves and our businesses and to show up in new ways. 2020 was supposed to be the year of Vision and in many ways it lived up to that…allowing us to see things more clearly, even if they were things we didn’t
necessarily want to see. 2020 also gave us a lot more time to reflect on ourselves and our lives and to think about what we really want for our planet and our future.
This year the Chinese Solar New Year is on Feb. 4, 2021 and the Chinese Lunar New Year falls on Feb. 12, 2021. Typically, the Lunar New Year comes before the Solar New Year. This year the Lunar New Year falls well after the Solar New Year so this is considered a “blind year”. This “blindness”
may mean you have less clarity, feel out of step or aren’t able to move forward as easily. I also feel blind years can bring up surprises or unexpected occurrences (as if we didn’t have enough of those in 2020!!)
2021 is the year of the Golden (Metal) Ox. Watch my Chinese New Year Preparation and Do's and Don'ts VIDEO for all the details!
