Fun fact: I’m actually a Fire Horse! If you were born in 1966 after February 4th or between January 1st and February 3rd of 1967, you’re a Fire Horse too! The 12 Chinese Astrology animals cycle through the 5 Feng Shui elements—fire, wood, earth, water, and metal—so every 60 years brings the same element and animal together again.

PS - Wondering why you hear different dates for Chinese New Year? February 4th is the SOLAR New Year and this is the date we use in Chinese Astrology and Flying Stars because this is more accurate and consistent year to year (it's usually Feb 4th). The Chinese LUNAR New Year is February 17th. That is the date celebrated in China. 

Another Fun Fact: Typically, the Lunar New Year comes before the Solar New Year. This year the Lunar New Year falls well after the Solar New Year so this is considered a “blind year”. This “blindness” may mean you have less clarity, feel out of step or aren’t able to move forward as easily. I also feel blind years can bring up surprises or unexpected occurrences.
