I know many of you who read the Painterâs Story are wondering what happened when my partnerâs home went on the market. Besides the Space Clearing I did and the magical painter spreading love and good vibes as he beautified the inside of the space, we did a few other special Feng Shui cures for selling the home
and what occurred was nothing short of magical!Â

And my partner's realtor, Gretchen Schmidt, made solid recommendations that made the home more saleable as well, such as changing out light fixtures, painting, landscaping, and staging. (BTW...she's happy to answer any questions regardless if you plan to buy or sell. Many times people want to

His home went on the market on a Friday in late September and there were open houses on Saturday and Sunday that weekend, during which 86 people went through the home (32 groups). Plus another 18 private showings were scheduled for a total of 50!! different families/couples/singles who went through the house. It was also noted on Zillow as a âhot property.â

My partner and his Seattle realtor, Gretchen had decided to review offers on Tuesday night. Four offers had been submitted and even as they were reviewing the offers, the buyersâ realtors were calling and making their bids even better.  At the end of the day (literally midnight on the East Coast time zone we were in), my partner decided to accept an offer from a couple that was $20,000 over his asking price! It wasnât the highest offer, but it was the one that felt
right to him. Plus, the Buyers accepted the Seller provided inspection and waived any additional inspection; waived the Seller disclosure and waived the information verification period. They also asked for an earlier closing date, which was better because the house was already essentially empty.Â

Even if they didn't know what they were feeling, the couple whose offer was accepted likely felt the Feng Shui cures and changes we had set in motion to prepare for the sale and release the home to them.Â
